Our Pool
Pool Rules
In addition to the pool rules posted in the pool area, the Snug Harbor Master Board has adopted the following pertaining to the use of the pool by incontinent people and children who are not yet toilet-trained:
Children under the age of five (5) and any other person of any age who is incontinent or known to have urinated in the pool, or who believe that the swimming pool is an acceptable location for excretory discharge, may not use the same unless they are wearing leak-proof protective diapers or underwear (i.e., “Swimmies” or “Depends” for pool use).
Diapers or underwear must be checked for cleanliness, and the child or person wearing them shall not be allowed to enter the pool if the diaper or underwear is unclean.
Children who are not yet toilet-trained must be held by a parent or an adult guardian in their arms at all times while in the pool.
As there is no lifeguard on duty, all persons will use the pool at their own risk, and parents are responsible for ensuring that their children are continuously and diligently monitored while in or about the pool.
Pool hours are from 8:00 AM to dusk (or about 30 minutes before sunset) and are strictly enforced.
